Pastor Caleb became a Christian at a very early age and has always been fascinated with the Bible and captivated by the person and work of Jesus Christ. Caleb grew up in Rifle, Colorado and after high school attended the University of Redlands in Southern California where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies and played football. From there, Caleb moved to Portland, Oregon to attend Western Seminary where he received a Master of Arts degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. Pastor Caleb is currently a doctoral student at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary working toward a Doctor of Educational Ministry degree in Applied Theology. He also serves as an FCA sponsor, coaches football, and runs the strength and conditioning program for the Grand Valley High School football team.
Before Caleb became a full-time pastor, he worked as a carpenter and spent four years in two different pastoral internships involving youth and educational/teaching ministries in the church while in college and seminary. Caleb has been married to his wife, Amelia, since August of 2014. Pastor Caleb enjoys weightlifting, fishing, hunting, woodworking, coaching football, reading, and taking Noah (their Golden Retriever) hiking.
Pastor Caleb's greatest passion and privilege is to help people grasp the beautiful and compelling story of the Bible and how it all leads us to Jesus.
