What Is Trail Life USA?
Trail Life USA is a Church-Based, Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure, boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade are engaged in a Troop setting by male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created.
Trail Life USA is a great Christian organization that helps develop character and leadership in boys and young men.
-Franklin Graham CEO Samaritan's Purse
Our church is excited to offer you this amazing program to our young men in our fellowship and community. We are always taking new REGISTRATIONS. Pray with us and seek how you might be a vital part of this ministry with us! We anticipate God to do great things in these young boys lives.
WHAT DOES TRAIL LIFE COST?
Trail Life costs can vary depending on the age of the child, on whether this is the Trailman's first program year, and whether they grow out of their uniform.
- Parents should expect the total cost of a Woodlands Trailman (k-5 grade) to be from $128 to $202 for the first year (Depending on uniform choice) and $83 in following years. This cost includes membership fees (see below), program materials, and troop uniform.
- Parents should expect the total cost of a Navigator or Adventurer (6-12 grade) to be from $178 to $252 for the first year (Depending on uniform choice) and $83 in following years. This cost includes membership fees (see below), program materials, troop uniform, and standard.
Parents should also expect to assume costs for camping trips and outings. These trips will be as affordable as possible, depending on the adventure, and usually costs $5 to $20 per Trailman. High adventure trips could cost a great deal more. These are adventures that are planned well in advance and are reserved for older boys. Fundraising events should be planned in order to off-set the costs associated with these great opportunities.
We hope that cost is not a determining factor in registering your child for a full year of adventure. Contact Jessica Forney if you have any questions at 970-640-5758 or e-mail at tlbooks@aplaceofgracegbc.com
